Site Manager (Solar Project)

Location: Bikaner, Rajasthan

Designation: Manager / Sr Manager
Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar EPC Projects

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 15–20 core engineering personnel at project sites.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure project activities are executed as per approved schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure all site activities comply with project quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, technical documentation, and manpower deployment records.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate site execution activities including civil, electrical, mechanical, and balance of system works for utility-scale solar projects.
• Maintain RFIs, inspection requests, testing records, checklists, and other project-related documentation.
• Maintain inspection reports, test records, quality documents, and as-built documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and project resources within budget.
• Resolve site-level technical issues and coordinate with engineering/design teams for timely solutions.
• Support project commissioning, energization, synchronization, and handover activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of HSE practices and maintain a safe working environment at site.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech Electrical Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 10 – 15 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in renewable energy / solar EPC projects or project-based companies.
• Proven experience in handling utility-scale solar project site execution and team management.
• Strong understanding of project execution methodologies, construction activities, and site management practices.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
