Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer to manage end-to-end tendering and bidding for substation and switchyard projects, including tender analysis, techno-commercial bid preparation, BOQ review, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and timely bid submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, technical specifications, SLDs, and BOQs.
• Prepare technical and commercial bids, cost estimates, and techno-commercial comparisons.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for technical inputs and commercial quotations.
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements, specifications, and submission deadlines.
• Manage pre-bid queries, client clarifications, bid documentation, and post-bid negotiations.
• Maintain a database of tenders, vendor quotations, costing records, and submitted bids.
• Support post-bid negotiations, price revisions, and technical/commercial clarifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years in tendering and bidding for electrical, substation, switchyard, power infrastructure, or solar EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, BOQs, cost estimation, and techno-commercial bid preparation.
• Familiarity with relevant IS/IEC standards and tendering procedures.
• Good vendor coordination, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and tender documentation.
