Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier audits, material inspections, quality documentation, and non-conformance resolution for utility-scale solar EPC projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Supplier Quality Plans, QAPs, Inspection Procedures, and ITPs for utility-scale solar EPC projects.
• Conduct supplier/vendor quality audits and evaluate supplier capabilities against quality standards and project requirements.
• Manage incoming material inspections for PV modules, inverters, cables, MMS, panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
• Coordinate Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), third-party inspections, and laboratory testing.
• Review supplier quality documents, including QAPs, test reports, inspection reports, material certificates, calibration certificates, and compliance documents.
• Handle supplier-related NCRs, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure effective CAPA implementation and closure.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure timely closure of quality issues, deviations, and inspection observations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Project Execution, and suppliers/vendors to ensure quality requirements are properly communicated and implemented.
• Ensure the quality of electrical equipment and workmanship supplied by vendors meets approved specifications, drawings, standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain supplier quality records, MIS, inspection reports, WIRs, and QA/QC documentation for management and client review.
• Support supplier qualification, approval, evaluation, and performance monitoring processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, IEC, BIS, MNRE guidelines, and applicable project quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 4–7 years in supplier quality / QA-QC for electrical, solar EPC, or power infrastructure projects.
• Corporate Experience: Minimum 2 years mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of supplier audits, QAPs, ITPs, PDI, FAT, inspections, NCR, RCA, and CAPA.
• Knowledge of solar electrical equipment, ISO 9001:2015, IEC, BIS, and MNRE standards.
• Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, vendor coordination, and communication skills.
